What is a Hydrafacial?

A Hydrafacial is a non-invasive, multi-step facial treatment that combines cleansing, exfoliation, extraction, hydration, and antioxidant protection all at once. Using patented vortex technology, it gently removes dead skin cells and impurities while delivering nourishing serums customized to your skin’s needs. The result is a refreshed, radiant complexion with no irritation.

Who is a candidate?

Hydrafacials are safe and effective for all skin types and tones. Whether you’re concerned with fine lines, uneven texture, clogged pores, acne, or simply want a deeper, more thorough cleanse, Hydrafacials can be tailored to address your unique skin goals. Sensitive skin types can also benefit thanks to the gentle, non-irritating technology.

Is there downtime?

There is no downtime after a Hydrafacial. You can return to your normal activities—and even apply makeup—the same day. Most people notice an immediate improvement in skin tone, texture, and hydration.

Contraindications

While Hydrafacials are suitable for most people, they are not recommended for:

  • Individuals with active rashes, sunburns, or rosacea flare-ups

  • Those with open wounds or active skin infections

  • People with shellfish, honey, or aspirin allergies (depending on the serums used)

  • Pregnant or breastfeeding women (certain serums and ingredients may need to be avoided; always consult your provider)

Pre-Appointment Prep

Avoid using retinoids, exfoliating acids, or strong active skincare products for 2-3 days before your appointment.

  1. Avoid excessive sun exposure and tanning beds.

  2. Let your provider know about any recent cosmetic procedures, such as fillers or Botox.

Aftercare

Keep your skin hydrated and use gentle, nourishing products for the next few days.

  1. Avoid harsh exfoliants, retinoids, or active ingredients for 48–72 hours post-treatment.

  2. Wear sunscreen daily (minimum 30 SPF) to protect your newly refreshed skin.

  3. Try to avoid intense heat (like saunas or hot yoga) and heavy sweating for at least 24 hours.
